Founded in 1797 by the Larios family as their principal agricultural farmhouse for the Monte de la Torre estate. The estate continues to be owned and managed by the sixth generation of the family.
In 2004 the Hacienda was fully-renovated and the events salon was built to allow for high-end social and business events and wedding hire.

Hacienda Almoguera is situated in the municipality of Los Barrios, and enjoys spectacular views of the Natural Cork Forest. It is centrally located in the Bay of Gibraltar between Sotogrande and the beaches of Tarifa, in southern Spain.
